Nirvana Hamta Retreat
Refined Mountain Living | A Sanctuary Above the Ordinary
Tucked away in the pristine heights of Sethan, near Manali, Nirvana Hamta Retreat is a destination shaped by silence, snow, and soulful intent. Surrounded by sweeping views of Hamta Valley and endless Himalayan trails, the retreat offers a rare balance—luxury that feels grounded, and nature that feels personal.

"This is not a place you simply visit. It is a place you arrive at."
The Founder's Story
Nirvana Hamta Retreat is a founder-led vision, born from lived experience rather than design briefs.

Meet Sagar Dhingra
Sagar, originally from Ludhiana, spent years in the IT sector and entrepreneurship across Ludhiana and Delhi. While cities offered momentum and growth, the mountains offered meaning. After selling his business, Sagar moved to Himachal Pradesh, drawn by trekking, exploration, and a deeper connection with nature.
His journey led through Palampur, Barot Valley, and Kasol—building campsites, running trekking operations, and hosting travellers who sought authenticity over excess.
In 2019, he discovered Hamta Valley near Sethan—a rare Himalayan landscape that receives heavy snowfall, remains accessible through winters, and opens into a trekker’s paradise across seasons. That discovery became home.

Meet Dipshikha Hazarika Dhingra
Dipshikha joined the journey same year. Hailing from Tezpur, Assam, she brings over 15 years of leadership experience in global organizations such as IBM Daksh and Convergys (now Concentrix). Her strength lies in people—comfort, communication, aesthetics, and personalised care.
Together, they began with a humble homestay and campsite, hosting trekkers and nature lovers. Over time, their vision evolved—transforming the retreat into a refined luxury glamping destination with domes, shell glamps, and glass cottages..
